A short walk from the car park. No real dramas with the terrain, but watch out for the prickly acacias.Easy to find, but if you have trouble, check out the clue.
This is a small cache with trinkets for kids. All the contents, other than the logbook and pencil, are animal characters; real, cartoon or fantasy, hence the cache name. It also adjoins a National park where there are many "wild" animals, and which was until recently the home of real Australian Brumbies. If you could maintain the theme it would be great. It was an unplanned stop and the container is not marked, but does contain the geocaching "blurb." This is in a very popular summer holiday spot, and while I could have located the cache on the coastline, I thought you could get an overview of the area from here.

Couldn't find a way in from the car park direct so we headed back around the comms tower. Bad move. Fading light, three kids and the fierce Australian bush led to a brief moment of panic. But Hannibal's motto "We will either find a way, or make one!" soon saw us standing on top of the cache. But that left the question of how to find a pain-free path back to our cars. We chose door number two and made it out with only a few scratches. What an adventure! L: Slinky

Sent the geokids caching with BLTBurger & they came back looking like they had been in a scrap. Scratches everywhere, hair with prickly acacia & feeling very sore. Protective clothing recommended from their experience.

We certainly made this find harder than we needed too going the long way around. Commend the kids trecking through the prickly bushes with thongs and shorts. Still picking out the acacias from our hair!!! Gloves are a must as are appropriate shoes.
