Geocache Description:

Geocaching is all about getting out in the great outdoors and discovering hidden gems and new places. Often that means travelling, and particularly for us flightless kiwis, that means going overseas so this challenge is all about finding caches in other countries.

First of all, the primary objective of this challenge cache is to have fun. As with all the best things in life, if you're not having fun, you're not doing it right!

For this international caching challenge cache, you must first find and log caches in at least 4 countries other than New Zealand.

This cache can be found at the published coordinates, but in order to find it and log it, you must first complete the challenge requirements: To find and log a cache in (at least) 4 countries other than New Zealand. See the challenge fine print below for the details.

The difficulty and terrain ratings of this cache are a reflection on the challenge as a whole, and not the final cache. The final cache would probably otherwise be rated as about a 1.5D/1.5T. BYO pen to the final cache.

You do not need to obtain permission from the cache owner in order to find and log this cache, but if you do not qualify for the challenge, your find log here will be disallowed and deleted.

When you log the cache online, please include in your log your list of qualifying cache finds in the countries you have visited for the challenge. Include the cache name and GC code, along with the country and date of your find. We'd like to encourage you to also include a photo from, and a small blurb about, your caching experience in each country.

We appreciate this is not the easiest challenge, but the cache owner has completed the requirements in the past, having found caches in 16 countries at the time of publishing of the challenge, so over time it is entirely possible.

1. Any geocache worldwide, but not in New Zealand, can be used to qualify for this challenge cache, so long as that geocache is not excluded for any other reasons below.

2. Your list of qualifying cache finds must include caches hidden in at least 4 different countries other than New Zealand.

3. You may backdate finds in up to 3 countries, but you must find a cache in at least one country outside New Zealand on or after the 16th of August 2011, where you haven't found a cache before. Additional exclusions apply as follows:

- Finds on virtual cache types (eg. virtuals, earthcaches, events) may not be used for this challenge unless good photographic evidence of your visit was provided with that find log. You must otherwise use a physical cache find as your qualifying find for any country. Couch caching finds do NOT qualify.

- Geocaching Challenges, whether they are photos, actions, or whatever, do not qualify.

- If you have already used a cache find, in any country, for the International Cacher Extreme Challenge (GC32B01) then you must use a different cache find for this challenge. If you only found 1 cache in that country then you'll need another country as you may NOT use the same cache find for both challenges.

- Caches owned by, adopted by, originally placed by, previously found by, or replaced by, the finder cannot be used for this challenge. The point is to travel and find caches placed by other people that you've never found before, in countries you've never visited before.

- Caches that were disabled or archived at the time of finding cannot be used for this challenge, even if the finder replaces them. If a cache is subsequently archived before completing the challenge, indicate this on your log, but the cache find will still qualify.

4. There is absolutely no time limit for completing this challenge - take as short or as long as you like. This isn't intended to be about spending a heap of money to race off to other countries as quickly as possible, but just a bit of fun on the side while you're travelling and caching.

5. Feel free to ignore this challenge cache if it's not for you - no offense is intended or will be taken. It has purposefully been placed in an area of Auckland where it is unlikely to block anyone from placing another cache here.

Please do have fun with this challenge - it's certainly meant to be about fun and discovery of new places around the world. Qualifying caches can be found, well, virtually anywhere in the world, and more are being placed every day!

Happy Caching!
