We've been meaning to incorporate this into a cache for some time and finally were able to do it.
Stage 1: You are looking for a large granite object with one single word on it. Well, that's not entirely true, the coords for stage 2 are on it as well.
Stage 2: You are looking for an object with the same word that was on stage 1. There is also a number on this object.
Let that number be ABCD.
EF = A + B + C + D
G = B/2
H = B - A(this isn't used)
I = B - D
J = G + A
Final Stage: The cache is at N37 AI.FEJ, W121 GC.EAJ. The cache is a small decon container, so bring small trade items.
Note: The distance between stage 1 and stage 2 would make for a long bike ride but you might want to drive. Daylight hours are recommended for Stage 1 as access is limited. Daylight hours are probably best for Stage 2 as well. Stage 3 is a short walk from stage 2.
About the relationship between stage 1 and stage 2: The objects at stage 1 and stage 2 refer to the same person, amazing as that may seem.
