Congratulations to rathergohiking for attaining another caching milestone. The subject cache is a traditional caching hide that involves a 1 kilometer stroll from a dedicated parking lot along a shaded wilderness path to an ammo can hidden among the George Mitchell Nature Preserve's trees, Yaupon bushes, Parsley Hawthorne shrubs, and Tri-foliant orange bushes. Dedicated parking is available adjacent to the trailhead. The area's wildlife, some or all of which might be observed on your hike, includes deer, feral hogs, rabbits, squirrels, and numerous varieties of birds, reptiles, and frogs. In addition, the area's trails contain numerous caches, many placed by rathergohiking. Be aware, however, aware that the areas around the trails may contain thorns, biting insects, venomous snakes, and Poison Ivy. Please respect the wilderness area's visitation hours of Dawn to Dusk.
