Geocache Description:

Take a walk on the paved trail. Visit the creek. Take a photo of the unusual limestone formation. In the summer, look for wild Vincas in bloom.

Plano maintains walkways along creekbeds, which make very nice city parks. This is done in conjunction with developing housing tracts. This tract is in a thriving, new neighborhood. Two gorgeous houses overlook the meadow with the cache. The cache is off the beaten track near the bank of Russell Creek, in a flood plain area. Two creek channels come together here and you will have a nice view of where the creek has cut a knife edge in the limestone.

03/03/2003: The last container was a glass jar, but it has been lost. I replaced it with a slightly larger, and more durable container. Also, I moved the cache about 10 feet to the west. When you visit this site, be careful to replace the thin piece of wood covering the cache so that it won't be revealed to non-cachers. Don't plan on leaving anything large here.

04/14/2008: 9key adopted the cache.

05/23/2008: Cache replaced and coords updated
