Greetings from several addicted Quad City Geocachers!

We're headed to Devil's Lake this weekend to celebrate what could result in a cacher's spontaneous combustion...

Dog, as a devil deified, lived as a god.

It's a rare palindrome week! Every day between 8/10 - 8/19 are palindrones. This event will be held on 81718.

It's also International Geocaching Weekend! Earn your virtual souvenier on 8-18-18 by finding a geocache. Earn your Meet a Cacher merit badge souvenier by attending an event on 8-17-18. [just kidding, there's no such thing...]

And FINALLY, the Perseid Meteor Showers will be flying overhead with 60-70 per hour expected to be seen during a clear sky!

We would love to meet some area geocachers during our stay while we're in town for the weekend [and get some good hints for these difficult Devil's Lake hides!].
