Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a township park. It is a short hike (less than 1/4 mile one way to the cache location). The park itself has soccer and baseball fields, a pavillion with picnic tables, and some port-a-potties.

Enjoy a quiet walk along the stream through the woods to this cache location. In the spring, you'll see skunk cabbage coming up all along the streambed and lots of pine tree seedlings and ferns emerging though the leaves.

The cache is located in a park on Brown Road. There are two options for parking. You can park at the main parking lot (where all the facilities are) and take a trail to the cache site (this way involves several shallow stream crossings and a rocky trail). You can also park at a small pulloff (room for one or two cars only). This is an easier trail, but involves a stream crossing across a "flood-damaged" bridge. Both parking areas are about the same distance to the cache location.

Parking Lot Coordinates: 41° 00.219’ // 075° 14.687’

Pull-off Coordinates: 41° 00.384’ // 075° 14.393’
(Near Metal Gate)
