Geocache Description:


Dieser Cache führt dich in einer kurzen Runde entlang von Wanderwegen zur Ruine Leonstein und zur Hohen Gloriette, von der aus man einen tollen Ausblick auf den Wörthersee genießen kann.
Dauer: etwa eine Stunde (ca. 2 km). Du kannst dein Cachemobil nahe der ersten Stage parken.
This cache leads you along hiking trails to the ruin of Leonstein and the "Hohe Gloriette", where you can enjoy a great view of the Wörthersee.
The hunt should be solved in about one hour (about 2 km). You can park your car near the first stage.

Stage 1:

Hier findest du einen gelben Wegweiser mit drei Zahlen darauf. Nimm die kleinste Zahl = A
Here you can find a yellow sign with three numbers on it. Take the smallest number = A.

Stage 2:

Hier findest du eine kleine Hütte, das sogenannte Hexenhaus. Zähle die "Säulen", was B ergibt.
Here you will find a small cottage. Count the 'pillars', which is B.

Du befindest dich nun bei der Ruine Leonstein. Interessante Informationen über die Ruine, sowie Öffnungszeiten findest du auf der Webseite.

How many barred windows are in the upper floor of the builing? (= C)

Du bist nun bei der Hohen Gloriette. Setz dich auf die Bank und genieße die Aussicht für A oder B Minuten. Von hier aus kannst du auch den Monte Pyramidus und den Kathreinkogel sehen. Nachdem du dich ausgiebig bei musikalischer Untermalung entspannt hast, zähle die Zinnen = D.
You are now at a small platform, the "Hohe Gloriette"
Search for a bench and sit down for about A or B minutes. Try to relax and enjoy the view over the Wörthersee.
From this position you can also see the Monte Pyramidus and the Kathreinkogel.
Count the number of pinnacles = D.
