Paladin8: Looks like we have to archive this one, because the bench it was under was removed. (That explains those bolt holes you saw, gerkmax. Sorry.) The odd reason that the bench was removed was that one of the nearby apartment houses had a big fire, and access to another fire hydrant was needed ! Can't vouch for the truth of this...

In the Village of Scarsdale

In medieval French literature, Charlemagne's twelve knights were known as Paladins. (See "The Song of Roland"). Their mission was that of benevolent heroes. charged with defending good causes. I have planned a series of caches, each with a quest. This quest is to find a cache (usually a nano) where the name of the color in the title is visible from the cache. Eventually, there will be a final cache (the White one), which can be found by using information from each of the previous caches,
