THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, BUT IS WITHIN 3 MILES.
To determine the cache coordinates, you must identify the titles of 13 movies from 13 lines of movie dialogue.
The movies are from the years 1939 - 2002.
All of the movies are either listed on the American Film Institute's ranking of the "100 greatest movies" of all time or are winners of the Academy Award for "Best Motion Picture."
The movies associated with the first 5 lines of dialogue will be used to develop an alphabet key which will be used to calculate the cache coordinates.
Here are the lines of dialogue:
(1) "Did you bring your broom stick with you?"
(2) "She might have fooled me, but she didn't fool my mother."
(3) "Round up the usual suspects."
(4) "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."
(5) "Life is like a box of chocolates."
Now, identify the 5 movies based on the preceeding lines of dialogue.
If the word "the" is the first word in any movie title, delete that word from the beginning of the title.
Develop an alphabet key by writing out all five movie titles in order one after the other. Delete all letters that repeat earlier letters and add any missing letters at the end of your sequence in the same order that they appear in the regular alphabet.
Next, assign the numbers 1 through 26 to all your letters from left to right. To verify that your alphabet is correct, use the numbers from your alphabet to value the phrase "Let's Go to the Movies." Each letter in that phrase will have a numerical value. Sum up all the values. If your total is 245, your alphabet is correct.
Now, identify the 8 movies referenced by the following 8 lines of movie dialogue:
(A) "As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again."
(B) "I was a better man with you as a woman than I ever was with a woman as a man. Know what I mean?"
(C) "He's fleeing the interview."
(D) "I can still smell the fresh paint. The china had never been used. The sheets had never been slept in."
(E) "Is this your first time?"
(F) "May the force be with you."
(G) "All that Jazz."
(H) "I knew a man who once said Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back."
After you have identified the 8 movies, delete the first word of any movie title if that word is "The."
Using you alphabet key, assign the proper numerical value to each letter of the 8 movie titles and sum up those values for each of the 8 movies.
A checksum for the total of all 8 movie values is 657.
To obtain the actual cache coordinates from the 8 numbers you have calculated, select one digit from each number (counting left to right) as follows:
(A) 1st digit
(B) 2nd digit
(C) 2nd digit
(D) 2nd digit
(E) 2nd digit
(F) 1st digit
(G) 1st digit
(H) 2nd digit
To obtain the actual cache coordinates, insert (A) through (H) into: N37 2A.BCD W122 0E.FGH
