Trans Canada Trail Extension Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TRAG.: Wow, is GZ different than it was 2.5 years ago when I placed this cache. Half the trees are now dead and marked for removal, and the tree that the cache was hidden in has been uprooted and is laying on its side. There are still traces of the person that used to live here, but it seems they have not been back for quite some time. With so many trees marked for removal, I am not going to replace this one until the work is complete. Once I see what is left I might place another one near here, but until then this area is open. Thanks to all of those people who visited this cache!!

Geocache Description:

Construction of this extension to the Trans Canada Trail began in fall of 2009 and I suspect it will continue in spring of 2010. Come see the progress and grab this cache! No parking nearby, may be a bit of a hike to get to GZ, so enjoy the walk! Walk will be a lot better when the pathway is finished!!
