Gravel roads or better the whole way. Location is extremely easy to find, but to reach the log book, you'll have to crack a safe.
Located at the shop of the only professional locksmith shop in the area, this cache is hoped to familiarize local cachers with this area a little better, and provide recreation for an hour or so with a mechanical challenge. The cache itself is a black safe with a silver combination lock on the front. Simply complete the correct dialing procedure, and rotate the silver lever handle downward.
Shop hours are 0600 to 1800 7 days a week, but being the sole source of locksmith assistance for this area, I am out of the office more than I am in it. You will be able to get to the safe anytime, but if you want to meet up with me, the best time is 1700 to 1730. It's not guaranteed, but it's probably the best shot.
Container is a decent sized safe, so feel free to bring some good trading material. I am leaving various coins inside and a monetary $10.00 FTF prize. (Only fitting you should find MONEY in a safe, right?)
Please re-seal the water proof container inside as you leave. Also, be sure to re-lock the combination lock. Close the door, turn the silver lever handle back up to the level position and rotate the combination dial a couple of times to scramble the tumblers.
And, of course, this safe IS private property. Please treat it with respect and do not damage it to get it open. Be reasonable, it's $10.00.
