Arriving, Station Stockton Traditional Geocache

This cache is located near the D & R Canal State Park hiking trail off Route 29 just south of Stockton. The cache is a 6 x 6 x 2.5 inch plastic container. The cache contains a log and an assortment of trade items.

Parking for access from the north is available in Stockton on the street behind the old railway station (now a deli) at N40-24.298 W074-58.598. In Stockton there are several shops and eating establishments that you could visit.

For access from the south (the long way), park at the parking lot at N40-22.797 W074-57.110. Parking is right next to the canal. Access the parking lot via the road for the Holcombe Jimison Farmstead Museum. The Farmstead Museum is open from May to October.

The cache is the fourth in the series to extend the line of caches located along the D & R Canal State Park hiking trail which follows the abandoned railroad tracks. I hope you enjoy your travels along the D & R Canal. Views of the Delaware River are available all along the way. Good hunting!
