I pass by here once to twice a month enroute to a consultant job in
Sidney and have stopped several times at this spot. The Missouri is
lovely here. Also there is a Lewis and Clark historical bulletin
board. I couldn't resist hiding a cache here. THE ONLY REASON I
HAVE RATED THE TERRAIN A 2 LEVEL IS A COUPLE OF SINK HOLES YOU NEED
TO BE CAREFUL TO AVOID. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND DOING IT AT NIGHT
WITHOUT A BIG LIGHT. Also the log book is small so
make your logs short and use both sides. PLEASE DO NOT OVERLOAD THE
CACHE. IT CAN ONLY TAKE VERY SMALL ITEMS SUCH AS ROCKS, COINS,
SMALL TRINKETS. The original contents are: Shamrock charm, agate,
Maine quarter, new Louisiana Purchase nickel, miniature Phat car,
and miniature Giants mug. Enjoy the view and the education re: L
& C.
The ratings have changed so I have now, more appropriately,
changed this to a small cache.
SGT red jeep - Performed cache maintenance. Replaced the
container with a military decon container plus a new log book.
Ready for another season of geocaching.
