How Geocaching Works
Paved trail most of the way to stage 1. Hiking to stage 2, might be muddy or require light wading after periods of rain. Stick to obvious trails.
Stage 1 is a large micro, stage 2 has room for some trades.
I've hiked to the final and been dry the whole way before. When I placed it in the spring, I had to traverse 1 to 6 inches of water a handful of times. Wear appropriate footwear depending on the weather. A little homework ahead of time might keep you drier.
The waterfowl in this area are beautiful to watch and listen to.
Do Not approach the final from the North. Hiking the correct route between stage 1 and the final is about 3/4 of a mile round trip.
Parking on the shoulder of Lehman Ave seems legal. The gate to the soccer park is often closed, though this might be a good choice on weekends.
