Skate and Jane: Lost count of the amount of times I have had to replace this one so giving up on it. I do hope someone else places one here as I have had wonderful posts over the years from cachers who have loved finding this place.

The cache is near the stile at the North entrance of the quarry (use the gate) which was in use from approx. 1820 to 1920. Some granite was used for the old London bridge, the British Museum and the Exeter war memorial.
It's a beautiful place that nature has softened with amazing acoustics. There are feral goldfish here but rarely visible when cold. The cache is a small cliplock box. No climbing necessary to find cache but there is a steep path. Enjoy the spectacular views on the way back.
