04/04/04 Traditional Cache

I looked at the calendar and noticed the interesting date coming up and thought I would place a cache reflecting the unique numerology.

OK, so maybe it's not exactly at 4444 N. 44th St.(there is no such address) but the nearest address to the south is 4440 N.!

Not on private property so don't even think about going there.

I spent nearly an hour at the location trying to come up with something out of the ordinary, hopefully it will be a bit of a challenge.

*UPDATE* Considering what has been going on here, I request (in the strongest possible terms) that anyone who finds this cache should NOT share any information about it. I know the feeling of finally making the find on a difficult cache, so let's practice 'Tough Love' and let the others get that feeling for themselves!

*UPDATE #2 4/25/04* Well, I checked on the cache last night, and yes it's still there. The area is showing some wear and tear, though, mostly due to a lot of people milling around. However, it seems that a few parties have gone a bit overboard in their attempt to locate the container. Please leave the area the way you found it, with the exception of removing litter, there is no excuse for changing anything here. If you can't put it back the way you found it, then don't touch it!
