Geocache Description:

On a beautiful island with great camping, fishing and recreational facilities. Accessible by a causeway from the "mainland".

This cache is meant to be for female geocachers!
Men may find the cache - and trade items - as long as they leave items with the ladies in mind. Everyone is welcome - just keep the theme in mind!

OK - Ladies - grab your GPS and start hunting - lots of
goodies were placed to start out with.
And we're not talking nail polish here - but what a woman cacher needs of her own: A new compass, first aid kit, stuff to keep your hair out of your face, etc.

The Army Corps of Engineers was slated to close this island this summer due to budget problems but with the help of a local marina owner, the isle will remain open.
It is with the encouragement of the Corps and the cooperation of the marina that we were able to place caches here.
Please CITO and help the Isle stay open to the public.
