CCCNP – The Sedum Boulders

THE CACHE IS AT THE COORDINATES LISTED UNDER ADDITIONAL WAYPOINTS. I am planning to archive this series and replace each cache. Until I do that this spring, the caches will remain as they are except that the actual coordinates for each cache will be posted as an additional waypoint.
The actual coordinates for this cache are also in the cache container for CCCNP - The Pancake Boulders.
The CCCNP series contains 8 caches which must be found in order. The only one of the 8 that is at the posted coordinates is the first one, Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve.
The CCCNP Series:
1. Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve
2. CCCNP - The Waterfall
3. CCCNP - The Tree Fern Cave
4. CCCNP - The Nars' (Narrows)
5. CCCNP - The Bottleneck Cache
6. CCCNP - The Pancake Boulders
7. CCCNP - The Sedum Boulders
8. CCCNP - The Balancing Boulders
CCCNP – The Sedum Boulders
Lovely boulders covered with an array of mosses, ferns and wildflowers. The boulders are particularly spectacular in the spring. The name for the boulders is due to the large population of Mountain Stonecrop (Sedum ternatum) that is found on these boulders. The lower leaves of the plants are evergreen so the boulders remain green year round.
This cache is an ammo can containing a few trinkets, the logbook, and the coordinates for the final cache in the series, CCCNP - The Balancing Boulders. There is also an unactivated travel bug for the FTF. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUSHWHACK FROM THE PANCAKE BOULDERS TO THIS CACHE. I promise that you will reach the Sedum Boulders faster and more safely if you follow the trail until you are within 100 -120 feet of the cache.
