bottlecap: And so the event goes away, but rest assured there will be many more. The "wings and beer planning event" location has been decided (you'll have to use your GPS). It is probably going to be a weeknight, to save precious weekend days for caching.
Thanks to all for your support, and for attending. The event was a total sucess, and a great launch pad for many more.

SATURDAY, APRIL 29th 2006.
A chance for all cachers to get together and say Hi, see old friends, meet new people, and discuss future events.
We will be meeting at 11:00 am. in the back room of the restaurant. The owners have been very friendly. They have told me that we can have the room as long as we need it. But, I will set a cutoff time of 1:00pm to meet the cache requirements.
Ordering will be right off the menu. The menu is what you would expect at a small restaurant (burgers, sandwiches, and some larger items). The food is all very reasonably priced (most expensive item on the menu is $9.50 for a steak with all the trimmings). Breakfast is available all day.
There will be a large log book available to sign, or show your artistic abilities!
Don't be shy, stop by. I myself wont know anyone either.
Please be kind and post intentions on attending, just in case we outgrow the room. There is a capacity of 30-40 people.

Edit: I was going to update the listing to include all that were going to attend, and shorten the logs, but mtndave was so proud of his "first to sign", that I just didn't have the heart. He was so much help to me in setting this up. Thank You mtndave!
