BREAKING NEWS: As an added bonus for geocachers, Ray (The Beast half of Trudy & The Beast) is going to hide 8 temporary caches in the area of the clean-up for this event. He will bring the coordinates to breakfast.
We will gather first for a quick breakfast at the Einstein Bagels restaurant at 8:00 a.m. Coordinates for the restaurant are listed above. After that we'll proceed to the Milwaukee lakefront where we will pick up litter until noon. We will be working in cooperation with "Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful". Trash bags will be provided. BONUS: Each participant will receive a free pass of your choice to either the Milwaukee County Zoo or a Milwaukee County swimming pool.
Plan to bring your own work gloves, sturdy boots or work shoes, and layered work clothes. The event will be held rain or shine, so bring rain gear if necessary.
Even if you have not yet signed up, come on down and join us! We have lots of trash bags and a free Milwaukee County Zoo pass for each volunteer.
