How Geocaching Works
Should be a fast park and grab
Building behind this cache is historic. Once a place where local farmers brought their vegetables to be canned. To the North of the cache you will see a round building. This is the place where the beans and pees and such were hung and dried. After the veggies where dropped off by horse and buggy's the farmers would return to take the vines back home for animal feed. Later the building become known for World class blue cheese. The rein of blue cheese lasted for over 50 years. Most recently a local artisan blue cheese maker ages product here (but does not sell retail) and an organic and grass fed dairy operation has its headquarters. Permission granted by Arlene Frye.
