Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden at the Saigawa bridge.

There are two main streams in Kanazawa; Asano river and Sai river. From the property, Asano river (see GC2KJD9) is called as "female river" (Megawa), Sai river as "male river" (Ogawa). Can you tell the river powerful as Male?

Saigawa bridge, which had been the important mainstream connecting Kanazawa castle area and outer city, was first built in 1594. At that time the bridge is made of woods, and rebuilt after wash away in every storm season. The current one is built in 1924, and recently 1996 repainted to green. The bridge name is decorated with gold foil craftwork, which has technical art of Kanazawa historically.

キャッシュは犀川大橋に隠してあります。

金沢市内を流れる2つの川、浅野川 (GC2KJD9参照) と犀川はそれぞれ、『女川』『男川』ともよばれます。犀川は『男川』だそうですが、優しさを感じることができるでしょうか。

犀川大橋は、市内と郊外を結ぶ主要な橋として、1594年に最初に造られました。当時は雨季の後は流され、毎年のように造り替えていたそうです。現在の橋は1924年に造られ、1996年には緑に塗り直されました。橋の銘板は、金沢の伝統工芸である金箔押し技術によって装飾されています。

キャッシュは金属製のタバコ缶です。
