Geocache Description:

San Lorenzo Canyon,North of Socorro. 1/2 Mile hike. Replaced 2/4/06.

Cache is in a 3" PVC pipe. It's under one of the 4 or 5 Juniper trees at this turn in the canyon, under some rocks. It's an easy hike with one five foot ledge, with water trickling off, that you have to climb over.

Get off I-25 at either San Acacia or Lemitar. There is a road that goes under the Interstate at N34 13.334 W106 55.127 right after you go under the interstate, go straight on the dirt road. There are a couple of turns, but just keep going towards the cache.

Contains a flashlight, neoprene gps case, gargoyle, bible, magnets, desert rose, patch, and log book.

Updated 2/4/2006. Replaced cache in a place where the locals wouldn't loot it. Look up to the East when you get to the end of the hike. There is a Juniper tree growing out of the sandstone about 100' up the face to the East. The cache is just above the juniper tree in under some rocks in a 4" pvc pipe with a screw top.
