This is one of the Course Challenge Caches from the 2nd Annual GBES Navigational Geocache Rally
This is the second Course Challenge for the night rally.
Referred to as Checkpoint Flat by GBES Admin, the area was used extensively during both days of the rally.
The location of this cache is about the halfway point of the Course Challenge that began just as the teams left the Checkpoint. The Course Challenge route brought them back to the area of Checkpoint 1 where the challenge was concluded.
Monty liked to call this area of the course “The Savanna.”
