Geocache Description:

No real path to cache. Will require some bushwacking. Parking at N38 35.771 W90 00.680

You are looking for a .50 caliber ammo box. This cache is a Fire Prevention cache. Since I work for this department I wanted to place something nearby that was educational as well as some goodies for the kids. I plan to keep this cache stocked with different types of fire preventional items.

This cache is located on the property of the Fairview Fire Department, and was placed with the approval of Fire Chief Bryan Doyle. You have been granted permision to access this cache by the fire department. Also, there is a police station nearby and they have been advised of this cache.

Please park in the parking lot only, near the rear hydrant, not on the grass. It is not adviseable to try this cache after dark. There are some houses nearby, and with the police department close, it wouldn't be a good idea, so please be respectful of the time.

If it is between the hours of 8AM - 4PM Monday - Friday, come on in and see us. Make sure to let us know you found the geocache. If we aren't busy we could even give the kids a look around in the station and trucks.
