Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This is a family cache. Flat shoes but no hiking boots required. Not suitable for buggies but still child friendly!
The cache is alongside a spectacular clifftop walk in Ardmore, Co Waterford. Just remember, you will never need to go to the seaward side of the path or cross any fence.

The cliff-walk is signposted and takes about 45 minutes. It's best to go clockwise - ie, park anywhere in Ardmore and start walking, keeping the sea to your left.

Fantastic walk to find this cache, especially if the weathers good as it was for us. Scenery is lovely and there are some good rock climbing opportunities if you feel adventurous. The walk takes you past a huge crane shipwrecked on the rocks below the cliffs.....it looks quite impressive. It's like something out of 'Planet of the Apes' when Charlton Heston walks along the beach to find the half-submerged Statue of Liberty.

Cache is well hidden especially in the summer when the brambles are thick and full. It's a great family cache as it's stuffed full of little trinkets. The kids loved finding this cache.

The Cliff House Hotel is at the start and finish of this walk......the terrace bar is to be recommended. It has stunning views and is a great place to grab a beer or hot chocolate after the walk and cache hunting.
