The Lovers' Key cache is located on "The Hill" on the Black Island Trail in Lovers' Key.
The cache of small toys, log book, and other goodies is located in a metal ammo container on Lover's Key just past Bonita Beach, Bonita Springs, FL. You enter the Park (an $8 fee per car is required) and take the main road approximately 1/2 mile to major parking area #2. On the left is the entrance to Black Island Trail. You follow the trail 1/2 mile past Post #4 and proceed past the rest area to the crest of "The Hill" (the highest point in Lee County, FL at 30 feet). Enjoy the walk and the truly natural surroundings. Please keep the cache hidden so it does not appear as trash to other Park visitors. The cache was completely refurbished on 1/20/2012.
