This is the second part of O'Fallon's, "Operation Clean Stream". Hence Phase II. The first part started a couple weeks ago and focused mainly on the parks in O'Fallon. Phase two will focus on the streams in the area.
Ok. So this is my first CITO event I have ever hosted or been to. So any help is greatly appreciated.
O'Fallon Parks and Rec. with provide us with trash bags, water and snacks. I will we will have hotdogs and burgers for lunch.
Bring your favorite drink and a small dish to share.

Registration is at 8:30am.
The event will begin at 9am and end at Noon with lunch and social.
HQ will be at the co-ordinates given and if we have a large turnout some may help at other sites but we will all meet for the lunch and social at noon.
Since I enjoy seeing pathtags and just started collecting them there will be a table to view and trade bugs, coins and tags.
***UPDATE***
It looks like things may be a little damp Saturday morning. But the event will still be held, unless there is a torential downpour or lightning. With the predicted rain you may want to bring rain gear and waterproof boots. Long pants are a good idea also.
I have orange safety vests and pickup grabbers if anyone wants to use them.
****NEW UPDATE****
Some may be speculating if the event will still be held. Rest assured that all systems are go for the cleanup. However I have decided to change the social with burgres and dogs to, everyone gathering at an area resturant so we won't have to brave the weather any more than we have to. We can decide where we will meet at the event.
In light of the picnic portion being cancelled I have been hitting the pavement and have recieved gifts from area establishments. It is amazing how generous local stores can be. I will tell you that at one place on Saturday, if you show you GPSr you will recieve a free treat. Hope to see you all soon.
