This cache takes you on a hike through the beautiful Wabana Trail system off of CR 59. ATV use is not allowed on this trail, though it's possible you will see evidence of it in places. If you are bold enough to seek this cache in the winter, please don't walk on the groomed portion of the ski trails.
The hike takes you through mature aspen forest, pine forest, northern hardwoods, and a black ash-cedar swamp (not too wet) as well as small stands of other forest. You will also experience various wetland habitats. This trail system is great for wildlife watching if you're quiet. I recommend that you make the short trip from the cache site to the bridge. It was too dangerous to put the cache across it. Please be careful of the small hole just before the bridge. You can take a shorter route back to the parking area than you took to the cache. This cache might be tricky--PLEASE rehide each stage as well as it is hidden when you find it.
