How Geocaching Works
***PLEASE USE CAUTION IF YOU DECIDE TO TRY AND DO THIS CACHE!!!***
This cache is located at Pinicon Ridge park in Central City. This is a VERY extreme cache that will test your will and climbing skills (unless you cheat and use a ladder!! :)
Please follow park hours of 4:30am to 10:30pm.
Well, I'm trying to push the limits...again. Yes, this is another "Weasel style" cache.
I actually spotted this location while at the winter event in January at the nearby Woodpecker Hill lodge.
Yes, you CAN get to this cache w/o using a ladder. In fact I climbed it 2 times due to dropping the cache while trying to secure it.
I hope that no ladders will be used on this cache, that way you get the full terrain effect of this cache. If my stubby legs can do it, you can do it
The container on this cache is what I call a decon ver 2.0. The container looks like a decon container, just a bit smaller. Please note that the lid is NOT secured to the container so don't drop it from the top so you don't have to make multiple trips up.
***UPDATE***(3/19/11) I have replaced the cache container with a regular decon container so the lid is attached.
I have placed a collecter pin from Oak Pins and a polished agate slice as a couple prizes.
Cache approved by Aaron Batchelder-Park Ranger of Pinicon Ridge.
