PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION
CAREFULLY:
Parking Coordinates
are 41-18.195N, 073-01.059W. This is a multi-stage micro with a
really FUN twist!
All stages can be completed without
ever leaving the boardwalk or paved trail and are located in an
area that is handicapped accessible with assistance (gravel parking
lot with a sloping paved path and a few inch lip up to the
boardwalk). In fact, for the preservation of the area,
DO NOT LEAVE THE TRAIL AS THERE IS
NOTHING ON THE GROUND TO FIND. Use
stealth if there are muggles about and be careful on any
wet or snow-covered wood. (Very
Slippery!))
The POSTED coordinates are
NOT the cache coordinates but will bring you to a spot where
you will find a hidden, fold-up mirror with instructions
INSIDE on how to proceed. Make sure you open it all the way,
or you will miss them! If you are group caching, you may wish
to bring along a small mirror for each member to use. There
is no need to touch or disturb any of the clues along the
way, as the mirror is all that you need for your
mission.
Take the mirror with you,
find the clues, and follow the instructions on each. They
will have you adding or subtracting from the last three
digits (._ _ _ ) of the POSTED longitudinal and latitudinal
coordinates (only concern yourself with the last three
numbers). Come up with the right numbers, and you will have
the coordinates to the final cache. Note: Calculator, paper,
pen or pencil might be helpful, but you be the
judge!
NOTE: If by chance you are
not into math, or your calculations send you beyond the
immediate area, you can decrypt the "BAIL OUT" clue. This
will send you to the location where you can find the actual
coordinates of the final cache. (All Yoda asks is that
you admit to using this clue in your
log.)
Once you have either
determined the final coordinates to the micro or you have
decided to give up and try another day, PLEASE replace the
mirror EXACTLY as you found it so that the next cacher can
use it.
This cache is very
kid-friendly, but posted that pets are not allowed (tho' I've
seen dogs every time I've been). The park is open dawn to
dusk.
Though there is only room in
the cache to trade very small items, please sign the
log.
Enjoy!
(If you haven't done it
already, while in the area, be sure to check out the “other”
dog’s cache, “Bits, Nibbles, and Bytes” located in this same
lovely park.)
