This series of caches is dedicated to the Sunday Drive, a weekly
ritual from back in the days when cars were big and gas was cheap.
The series is laid out in a somewhat-circular fashion and your best
bet, if you’re looking to complete the series at one time, is to do
them in order. There is a bonus cache if you complete all 10 in the
series, so be sure to collect the bonus coordinate when you find a
cache!
Given the series title, most of the caches are located within a
short distance of parking, with a few exceptions. The containers
are of all different sizes, and the difficulty ranges from quick
park-n-grabs to (we believe) very vexing, camouflaged hides. Good
luck!
If you've been past the intersection of Highway 29 and 32 near
Pulaski, you've no doubt passed by this fishing pond on the north
side of the road. We believe it was excavated when the highway was
rebuilt. If you forgot your fishing pole, no worries! Just stop by
the fireworks stand (in season) and dynamite them out of the
water.
Parking in the gravel lot near the fireworks stand is HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED. Don't blame us if you try to drive close to the cache
and need a tow.
You also might stumble across various county line benchmarks
while looking for this cache. None appear to be NGS benchmarks
unfortunately so no extra logs for you!
