Geocache Description:

Located on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland is a memorial to those who protect and serve us selflessly every day. Nearby to this memorial is a smaller memorial that perhaps has a much bigger meaning to those who choose to visit.

The container you seek is a magnetic key holder containing a few logsheets and a stashnote explaining geocaching. Please do try to be stealthy as you are standing on one of the busiest spots in the state during warmer weather and please also be sure to rehide the cache as well as or better than found.

To claim this cache:

1.) Find the cache.
2.) Sign the log.

While not necessary to claim a "find" on this cache those who wish to may choose to do the following ALR actions.

3.) Post a photo of you with your GPSr in hand and the memorial in the background.
4.) Answer the following question via e-mail. Please don't post your answers in the logs so that others who choose to may also enjoy the search!

1.) What does the small brass plaque located to the immediate right of the September 11th memorial say?

While this is noted as being an “Additional Logging Request" (ALR) Geocache, that moniker is only for those who choose voluntarily to take on further tasks. The only true requirements are the first two. Treat it like a virtual or an ALR, but it’s got a container and a log to sign too. Have fun!

Many thanks to The Perryzip Crew for ideas and inspiration.

FTF honors go to chickadeedeedee!!! Congratulations!!!
