Cache is hidden in an area with nice walking and biking trails. Cache is about 150 feet off of marked trails. There are alot of trees, but our GPS( Garmin etrex)had no problems, as we walked to and from the cache several times.Watch for spiders, mugglers and deer. As we saw an abundance of all on the trails.
This is our first cache hide for Chicago.We liked this area alot, and decided to hide a cache here. There are several others in the area, so bring a picnic and hit them all. Cache is starting with a Hide a key, various items and a $2.00 wheres george bill?. Cache is a green ammo box.Hope you enjoy!!
***4/17/10 Came by to check on the cache, and WOWW!!!! there are alot of thorny bushes around here-nothing like when we placed the cache or have been back to check on it.Where did they all come from?? I highly suggest you wear pants to search for this one!
***10/2023 have updated the terrain as several have mentioned there are ALOT of vines and thorns! It was not that bad when we first placed the cache. If anyone thinks we should archive this or wants to adopt and possibly move this cache let us know! We no longer live in Chicago and can’t come check on the cache! Thanks
