Hear me now - good caching isn’t the only thing on the rise on the UWS. In addition to the recent increase in geocaches, the last couple of years have seen a major renaissance across all facets of the neighborhood – more street fairs and more community events. More theater and more live music. More new restaurants, and (thankfully!) more bars. :)
In more places than ever before you can enjoy the best that New York has to offer, right here on the UWS. So come visit. But be warned… If you plan to do any caching while you’re enjoying the area, you had better bring your best puzzle solving skills with you – there are well over a dozen Dastardly-level puzzles within a mile of this one. (It remains to be seen just how “Dastardly” this latest entry is, but know that the rated difficulty of this cache is tied to both the puzzle and the hide. The container itself is in plain sight; although it may be difficult to immediately identify, it is situated so as to be easy for a stealthy cacher to reach out and touch.)
Someone lucky enough to claim FTF honors will find him- or herself with first pick of a crisp, new $50 bill or a small selection of unactivated geocoins (with 2TF, 3TF and 4TF choosing among the rest). With that in mind, I will not be giving hints of any kind until the FTF is claimed - but I am happy to include a geocheck. Good luck!
