January 16 by AWEMM (2450 found) After completing our Top of the Palisades FTF objective, BenH57, Foon and I found a few caches along the BBT on our way back to the WRSHP parking area. Even though the trail was busy, no Buggles or Huggles – biking muggles and hiking muggles respectively – were around when we made the find. The cache is just where it should be. T4T$

January 9 by Cairngorm (355 found) Can't not find this, Spinal Tap has zero tolerance. Muggles walk by on the trail not seeing me. And in the end there it is, in the second place I glanced, and just where it should be. It didn't actually take long, it just feels like it, and thanks for that!

August 23, 2009 by paleolith (463 found) I'm on a roll! Well, I didn't actually find Turn Right for the Rustic Canyon, but the owner of that cache gave me permission to install a replacement, which I did.So, I looked in one cavity I hadn't totally explored (after poking a stick in and stirring), no dice. Looked another place I thought I'd checked out thoroughly last time, and there it was! The pencil point was down to zilch and I had nothing to sharpen it with, so I left a mini-pen. I got a late, noonish start today, so I made this my turnaround point. A cool sea breeze was blowing most of the afternoon, and if I'd started early, I could have made it up to the hub, possibly finding all the caches in Topanga that I need for Spinal Tap. Sic transit gloria. On the way down, I took the side trail to PEACE---------OUT. Edward

July 26, 2009 by paleolith (463 found) Didn't get enough frustration at Turn Right for the Rustic Canyon, so I came up here for some more. The sun was high and very bright, making it very difficult to see into crevices. I didn't fully explore one due to the harsh light, and maybe that's where it was.Saw the geotrail from 30' away. You may need to consider moving this a short way because the geotrail has become so prominent. The slide here is not too far back in history, and the soil and rock are still really loose here and get moved easily, and the result remains visible. It's a surprisingly delicate spot. Finally resolved my frustration with a Backbone Pear. Edward
