Geocache Description:

The new and improved COOL TOOLS (Updated 8/23/18)

This cache will take you to public trails off Kittredge Rd. Meander through various forest land, along and over old farm stonewall fences and down to the old Bangor Veazie Railroad bed to enjoy the work of beavers.

There is plenty of swag in the new toolbox, please do not take the tools.

This is a Multi-cache that will take you through trails leading to the final destination. You may hike, snowshoe, mountain bike - a lovely area to enjoy a hike and nice day. Since this is a multi, you will be looking for Dog Tags, engraved with coordinates to help you on your journey. Since the terrain varies the rating for this cache is high. The walk is about 1 mile, one way.

You will start near the kiosk on Kittredge Rd. Park off the sides of the road or in the pull-off. Dog Tags have been placed for you to find with the progressive coordinates along the trail. These are winter friendly, please do not remove them.

Regretfully, the old cache container was brittle and broken (that old Tool Box = Cool Tools). It has been replaced a couple of times but now with a metal one.

Enjoy the hunt. You will note as you walk in it is downhill, therefore, the walkout will be uphill and more strenuous. You will be hiking 1 mile in so please take this into consideration before you start the hunt.

There is plenty of swag, please do not take the tools.
