Geocache Description:

One of a series of puzzle caches, loosely based on the departments of the university. The above coordinates are those of the University Library. The cache is not at this location, but is within half a mile.

The University Library dates back to at least the 15th century, although its current building was opened in 1934. As a legal deposit library, it is entitled to a free copy of every book published in the country, and thus has over 7,000,000 books, on subjects as diverse as dictionaries of science and shorthand.
