The first part of the search takes place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery where you move about within a fairly small area. This should take about an hour or less. The last part takes you onto the old Beltline rail right-of-way which is now a very nice walking trail.
The listed coordinates take you to Stage 1 which is just inside the Yonge St. gates of the cemetery. On-street parking is available. Subway stops at either St.Clair or Davisville stations.
Stage 1: Freemasons
In this area locate a deceased whose surname is the same as a famous author who penned the story 'The Old Man and the Sea'. How old was the deceased when he/she died?
If X is the dead person's age, then Y = X+35

Stage 2: St. Andrews Society of Toronto
This area is reserved for people belonging to an old Scottish society which was established in 1838. Look for a marker which has 3 trees inscribed on it. On this marker, in what year was the younger person born?

Stage 3: Masseys
This mausoleum remembers an old Toronto family. At each of the three points of the plot stands a kind of tree. Count up the number of letters in the first word of the common name for this tree. That word refers to an old area of Europe. Most of the trees in the cemetery have been labelled.
