Rowan-pup is our cache-hound and dearly loves our forays into the
woods. We placed this cache in her honour, having spotted a
particularly apt grove of trees! The container is a sandwich-sized
Lock-n-Lock, camouflaged.
Located at the radar site of the Redcliff
Air Station, formerly a part of the Pinetree Line Radar system.
Now in disrepair, it is mostly used by urban explorers and
paint-ball aficionados. The East Coast Trail cuts through this
station. Travelling north will take you to Outer Cove, while
travelling south leads to Logy Bay. Please take extreme care when
exploring this area. There are crumbling buildings, sheer cliffs,
and all manner of glass and debris about. We designed this series
as a potential family adventure, but we'd like for you to finish
the expedition with the same number of participants as you started!
