YD4 is on the Green River and is only accessible by a boat.
THIS IS A SMALL COIN CACHE ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY THING BUT COINS. THANKS!
The container is a mini-mag lite box that is yellow and is in a neat spot. It is well hidden. You will only see a corner of it. Please cover it the same way to prevent raiders from spoiling the fun. We found this spot while canoeing down the Green River.
If you start in the town of G.R. It will take 2 days to get there by canoe.
If you start at Ruby Ranch then, Itwill only take 1 day.
Plan on at least 3-days for the whole trip.
This is also a great trip for all dog teams!!
The Green River is a flat water river with no rapids.
It has AWESOME SITES AND HISTORY!!!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
The riverside put-in coordinates for the cache site are: N38 36.793 W110 01.153
It’s a little tricky. Give yourself plenty of time and plan ahead or you will either have to paddle up-river or miss it. Great camping spots and hiking trails. Plan to stay a couple of days. It’s worth it. Please keep it clean so others can enjoy.
INSIDE YD4:
A genuine replica of a real treasure coin from the treasure ship Atocha that sank off the coast of key west in 1622. Then finally found in 1983 by Mel Fisher(look for more of these in other yellowdog caches)
Other coins from far away, a travel bug, a barrel of monkeys, and the logbook.
