Geocache Description:

A great view of the Gold Creek Valley and nice place to take a walk.

Get off I 90 at Exit 54 -- if you are coming from the West -- turn left. Coming from the East turn right. Then take a right at the snow park sign. Follow the signs to Gold Creek Area.

This area was once the site of the gravel pit for the construction of I 90 over Snoqualmie Pass. Now the paved path around the pond offers a great walk (about 1 mile) or,if the season is right, a snowshoe walk or beginner's cross country ski. We have walked by deer, elk, and beaver. Great wild flowers in season. Wonderful fall colors. It's there all year, but most years it's snow covered from November until June.

It has been stolen twice. It's not an ammo box anymore but a micro cache capsule. Please bring something to write with.
