This cache was hidden in honor of the new Arroyo Mocho trail in Pleasanton.
This new biking and hiking trail will eventually connect Pleasanton with the Ironman Trail which presently runs from Concord to Dublin. This segment of the trail ends/begins at the intersection of the 580 and 680 freeways, across from the Hilton Hotel. The new Arroyo Mocho trail is especially useful as a safe route to Hart Middle School for students.
The plastic cache container, 4 inches long and i inch wide, is camouflaged and well hidden to the casual observer. Once you get there you should be able to figure out where it is. After you sign the log, please replace the cache exactly where you find it.
The cache contains the log booklet, the geocache letter, and some small items for trade.
There are several entry ways to this segment of the trail. Check a map to find the short way.
