Rehobeth-Ridge Rd. Cemetery, is located on the north side of Ridge Rd., near the intersection of University Dr., near New Philadelphia,Ohio, Goshen Township, Tuscarawas County. The flattened headstones are obscured by surrounding grass. There's room to pull off just beyond fence and gate into plot.
Legend says that this quiet, easy-to-miss cemetery is the final resting place of a real Warlock! Rehobeth Church stood here from 1850 until 1877.
One stone in particular is the focus of the legend. A black rectangle is said to hold the remains of the warlock - "one that breaks faith, the devil" who was buried in 1875.
The grave is the SW corner of the cemetery.
