Cache-tech: That one just lets me know the event should be archived, glad everyone had fun. Time to archive the event and begin planning next year.

Geocache Description:

March 12, 2005 1200-1500 (Noon - 3:00 PM)

City Park, loads of parking, picnic shelter, fire, food, free.

In celebration of, hopefully, the spring thaw when we lose that cold weather, icy trails and three feet of snow over the geocaches (but we'll miss the footprints of the geocacher before us).

Same drill as last event. A fire, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and condiments will be waiting so bring the kids and hot dogs and roasting sticks and any good food to share.

Just in case we get scooped by another group (can't pre-book shelters this time of year), just seek a nearby fire-pit with a healthy looking crew of intelligent people who definitely don't waste their time at THE MALL. Unfortunately, the park is no dogs so Bush Hound has to stay home. However, there are numerous caches nearby for added adventure.

Cache log will be available for log in between 1200 and 1500 (Noon to 3:00 PM).

Theme this year is welcoming new cachers to this awesome sport.

Also remember Bush Creatures' usual advice - if heading into deep bush for a cache, let someone know where you are going and when you should be returning, mark your vehicle as a waypoint and pack a compass because compasses don't run out of batteries.

Happy geocaching and feel free to post a note.
