Jumping Trout Cache Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

CT Trampers: Clearing out some of our caches, and since this one has been a maintenance nightmare and doesn't get many visits, we decided to archive it.

Now there is some prime real estate available for some new cache placements! [;)]

Thanks to all who came searching for this one.

Grabbed the Generic Geocoin.

Geocache Description:

A three part multi cache located in Jump Hill and Trout Brook Preserves. Designed to be a bit more of a challenge than our other caches in the area. The first two containers have half the coordinates to the final cache inside. It does not matter which part you find first.

Caches are in an area that thankfully was saved from Golf course and McMansion development. It is normally Mtn. Bike accessible, but according to signs there it will be closed to biking until the end of April. All caches are placed in the area where no hunting is allowed. This is a nice hike. Plan on spending at least 2 hours on this one. Bushwacking is an option and at least now, the woods are fairly open. All three caches are within 100 feet of marked trails. There are steep drop offs near part two and the final cache, use caution. The coordinates listed at the top of the page are for stage one, which is a decon box. It contains Geocaching.com welcome note, and half the coordinates to the final cache. Part two is a micro cache, around the same size as a 35mm film container. This is not your typical hide. Coordinates to part two are: N41 15.643 W73 20.440 ****Please leave coordinates in cache containers****Part three is a .50 cal ammo box. The box is a bit tough to open, you'll have to use some muscle. Since there was a lot of GPS bounce in the area of the final cache, I will say this: Cache is not on top, and if you are thinking of getting out the climbing gear, there is a much easier route. The cache contains a logbook and pencil, Geocaching.com welcome note, and the usual Tramper fun.
