Motorway Mayhem caches are intended to provide fairly easy drive-by caches together with useful “just-off” motorway information for travellers who are in need of a break or seek alternatives to the typical motorway service station type fare and prices. It is hoped this series and concept will grow as other cachers add further caches along the length and breadth of Britain’s Motorways.
This cache is about a 1/3 mile from J22 of the M62. This is the highest point on the UK Motorway network. You can park in the small layby a few feet from the cache itself. Please be discrete, especially if you are sharing the layby.
