Geocache Description:

GC 2006 Heritage Trail Series Cache #3...GRAFBURY

This is the third of several caches I hope to plant along the Heritage Trail this year. The Heritage Trail has been open for years. The 26 miles trail runs between an area just north of the City of Dubuque to the City of Dyersville on the bed of former railroad tracks. The hard packed surface features no more than a 1% grade increase in any area, making it great for scenic walking, running, biking, or cross-country skiing for users of all ages. This is an easy, flat walk or bike ride until the last few yards when it goes vertical. Cache is a standard military decon container. This cache is located approximately half way between the trail's Asbury access point and the Graf access point, hence the GRAFBURY reference. Parking at Asbury is at N42*30.910 / W090*50.517 and parking at Graf is at N42*29.498 / W090*52.333 Visit the official Heritage Trail site here: Heritage Trail
