This Multicache will get you out in the woods and off the trails. You will need a total of about 90 minutes of walking time between stages, plus any time spent walking off the best route, and your search time at each stage.
At all the preliminary stages you will find a green "Emerald Nut" container with a pill bottle inside. On the pill bottle are the coordinates for the next stage. If you would like to try GPS-less caching from this point on, there are maps inside the pill bottle showing the location and straight line route to stage 2. (you may enter the coordinates as a back up if you like, but if you use them, please come clean and don't log it as GPS-less) Please take only one map per group if you want to try GPS-Less caching and make a note in the web site log when the supply gets below 5 copies so I can replenish them. If you are able to finish this cache without further GPS usage please indicate that in your log. If you choose to use a GPS all the way that is fine as well. You will certainly still have earned your smiley face. 
This cache does work well with the Rufus Card Cache as a day trip. They can be done in either order. You will understand more as you do them. (Depending on your route and total preparation for the day you might score an additional 9 or more finds) There are lots of briars in some areas of French Creek but you do not need to test them unless you choose to. Keep your head up and navigate around them. Plan your routes carefully.
